Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Additional privacy information for food and wellness records.

Your health dataLast updated: October 13, 2026

Scope

This policy supplements the Privacy Policy of bling team. It applies to consumer health data covered by applicable Washington and Nevada privacy laws. Wellness information can qualify even when it is not a medical record.

Data & Sources

Consumer health data may include your meal photos, dietary and nutrition records, water intake, body measurements, activity level, goals, and related profile or support information. It also includes estimates and inferences derived from those inputs, such as daily targets, streaks, and achievements, and account or usage information when associated with them.

Sources include information you submit, your interactions with bling, estimates generated by the Service, and account information supplied by authentication or purchase providers. If you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, bling reads data such as steps, activity, and weight on your device with your permission, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Purposes

We use this information to provide and personalize food recognition, journaling, and daily targets; show progress, streaks, and achievements; send reminders you turn on; maintain and improve the Service; provide support; and meet legal obligations. Collection or use that requires consent is subject to that consent, including optional model training as described in our Privacy Policy.

Sharing

We may disclose the categories above to service providers supporting hosting, storage, authentication, subscriptions, notification delivery, support, and product analytics, as needed for their services. Other disclosures may occur at your direction, where legally required, to protect rights and security, or during a business transfer. Required consent must be obtained before a disclosure. We have no affiliates.

We do not sell consumer health data or authorize its use for advertising, and we never provide Apple Health or Health Connect data to advertising or attribution providers; see our Privacy Policy. Providers acting on our behalf must follow our instructions and applicable protections. We do not use geofencing around healthcare facilities to identify or target people seeking care.

Rights & Requests

Where applicable, you may confirm processing, access your health data, obtain information about recipients, withdraw consent to collection or sharing, and request deletion. Submit a request to team@bling.best or use our account deletion process. We may verify your identity and will respond within applicable legal deadlines. Deleting your account does not remove entries already written to Apple Health or Health Connect; delete them in the Health app or in Health Connect.

To appeal a decision, reply with “Consumer health data appeal” and identify your request. You may also contact the Washington Attorney General or Nevada Attorney General. We do not unlawfully discriminate against people who exercise their rights.
