Written for a real decision
The bling editorial team starts with a question a person can act on: how to review a photo estimate, what a food journal can record, or where an AI estimate stops being useful. We do not publish keyword-shaped filler.
About bling
bling is an independently built food and wellness journal for iPhone. It turns meal photos into editable calorie and macro estimates, then keeps meals in a sticker journal with Today Breakdown, Calendar, and FOOD TICKET recaps.
Our editorial ledger
The bling editorial team starts with a question a person can act on: how to review a photo estimate, what a food journal can record, or where an AI estimate stops being useful. We do not publish keyword-shaped filler.
Product behavior comes from bling's documented design. Health and nutrition context starts with primary or authoritative sources such as government guidance, public datasets, and original research. Every guide lists the sources it used.
The bling product team checks that a guide does not promise a feature, price, platform, accuracy rate, or outcome the product cannot support. Medical claims and invented expert credentials do not pass review.
Each guide shows when it was published and last reviewed. Material changes update that date. If something is unclear or wrong, email team@bling.best with the page URL and the evidence we should review.
Source policy
We prefer a direct source over a summary of a source. When a useful claim is uncertain, we say so. A citation supports the sentence beside it; it is not decoration for the page.
Our guides are educational, not medical advice. People with a medical condition, an eating disorder, pregnancy-related needs, or a prescribed nutrition plan should follow their clinician's guidance rather than an app estimate.
